George explains a water purification system

George explaining how the water purification system works. Participants in Shoeman Water Training receive an extensive two-day training in water purification, health and hygiene.

Shoeman Water Training Class Donations
In 2012, Shoeman Water Projects added Shoeman Water Training to train individuals and organizations interesting in installing a water purification system in conjunction with mission and service trips. The two-day training session familiarizes the participants with The Process of Partnership, water testing, water transfer, water purification system, point of use filtration,  community health assessments and waterborne disease prevention. Cost for the training is $200 per person.  The cost of training for two people plus a water purification system is 5,000 pairs of shoes.  Click the button below to give the gift of a Shoeman Water Training Class.

Donate a Water Purification System
In some areas of the world, water purification systems are more effective than drilling wells. Shoeman Water Projects utilizes water purification systems that use a chlorination process to filter water and make it safe to drink. Chlorination has protected the United States and other countries for nearly a century and has saved more lives than perhaps any technology. Each water purification system costs $1,500. If you’d like to donate a water purification system, please click the link below to make an online donation or call 636-751-8197.

Stock Donations and Charitable Gift Annuities
Shoeman Water Projects accepts gifts of appreciated or depreciated stock and can help you set up a charitable gift annuity (CGA). With a CGA the donor transfers cash or property to the charity in exchange for a partial tax deduction and a lifetime stream of annual income from the charity. The amount of the income stream is determined by many factors including the donor’s age and the policy of the charity. Please call 636-751-8197 to discuss your gift of stock or a charitable gift annuity.
